hey friends-
i've promised myself that if i'm going to
continue to do this here journal thingy
that i'm gonna have to reveal a few
things about my personal life every now
and then...if you knew me you'd know that
i enjoy keeping my personal life personal
...having said that..
after playin in milwaukee the other night
i decided to drive back to indianapolis
and sleep for a few hours before heading
to cincinnati to play that night...i've been
on the road for most of the last month or
so and i was looking forward to getting
home to see amy...i got home and went
to bed and after a half hour or so amy
came in and woke me up...she said that
my dad had just had a massive heart
attack and that i need to go to the
hospital...i cancelled the gig in cincy
and went to the hospital
he was in a coma...the doctors said that
he went without oxygen for quite a while
and he had suffered massive brain
damage...he stayed in the icc unit for the
next few days until he died on tuesday
...he was 59....he was far too young
we buried him yesterday in the cemetery
in wanamaker indiana
